6 Good Reasons To Visit the Kreuzzwerg Parent and Child Café
- Plenty of space for your quality time as a family: our children’s café has a total size of around 170 square metres. When you enter the café, you are in the largest room. There are tables and seating as well as lots of fun play options. You can find out what these are in the next section. Another room is equipped with plenty of climbing facilities, toys and lots of children’s books. A large ball pit awaits you in the smaller playroom. Our large hallway invites you to linger as well. That’s because there are exciting activity boards attached to the walls. When the weather is nice, you can make yourself comfortable in the idyllic outdoor area with additional play options as well as lots of greenery and flowers. As a private party, you can celebrate in our café with up to 60 guests.
- Various fun play options for your “Kreuzzwerge”: children can have lots of fun here – whether they’re ball pool masters, climbing fans or kids’ chefs. The ball pit also features a slide, a throwing disc and a basketball hoop. Discover a children’s play kitchen, a play shop, a large doll’s house and big building blocks. In addition to classic toys such as cars and dolls, we have modern educational toys for puzzles, making music and training motor skills as well. Many children’s books in several languages introduce you to colourful worlds. The costumes in our popular dress-up box are sure to stimulate the imagination of your “Kreuzzwerge” too.
- Cosy ambience: We have furnished the Kreuzzwerg parent-child café in an inviting and homely way. When you come in, put on comfortable slippers. You can socialise, eat and drink in the first room – if you like, you can even sit on a raised platform. There is an extra area for babies and toddlers to crawl around with age-appropriate toys. Right next to it is a seating area. In the larger playroom, there are more tables, mats and a beanbag chair. Thanks to all these flexible seating options, you can sit in different places in the café and socialise with other families with children.
- Central location in Kreuzberg: Kreuzzwerg children’s café is located in the heart of Kreuzberg – and therefore very central. You will find the café between Mehringdamm, Yorckstraße and Landwehrkanal (Möckernbrücke). Thus, Kreuzzwerg is located right next to the Park am Gleisdreieck. The German Museum of Technology (Deutsches Technikmuseum) can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes. There is a playground around the café’s corner. The neighbourhood is rightly very popular with families. So why not come to Kreuzwerg with your family after your visit to the playground, park or museum!
- Easy access by local transport: The shortest walk is to get off at the Mehringdamm underground station. Then it’s only a 7-minute walk to us. From there, simply walk along Mehringdamm in the direction of Yorckstraße and follow it to the one-way street Hornstraße to house number 23. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the S-Bahn station Yorckstraße and from the U-Bahn stations Möckernbrücke and Gleisdreieck.
- Lots of delicious food and drinks thanks to our own kitchen: One of our special features is that our children’s café has a fully equipped kitchen. Thanks to it, we can freshly prepare all kinds of delicious dishes for you. Why not take a look at our menu! Enjoy our popular family breakfast in Kreuzberg, for example.
At Kreuzberg’s parent-child café Kreuzzwerg, children are allowed to just be, have fun and learn – from each other and by discovering our play options. We look forward to your visit and wish you all a wonderful family time in our café!
