Your Cosy Children’s Café Kreuzzwerg in Berlin-Kreuzberg

The family-friendly children’s culture café Kreuzzwerg welcomes you all: Babies, children and parents. Come along for curious discovery, to enjoy yourselves – and of course to play happily! We give children space to learn through play and to socialise. That way, your little ones can develop together – for example, socially and in terms of motor skills. As an indoor location, you’ll have a great time with us even in rainy weather with a child in Berlin and in winter.

Kreuzzwerg is a cosy parent-child café and a party location for family celebrations in the heart of Kreuzberg. It is located in a quiet, green one-way street – close to the Park am Gleisdreieck and the German Museum of Technology (Deutsches Technikmuseum). Admission for children to our family café is € 1 per hour.

For parents by parents: As mums and dads, we know how to inspire your little ones. In addition to a colourful ball pool, you can expect numerous (learning) toys. There is plenty of space and cosy corners to relax in during your play breaks. Make yourself comfortable at the many tables and savour delicious drinks as well as dishes. If you like, take a seat in the idyllic outdoor area when the weather is nice. Kreuzzwerg is therefore a wonderful place for your Berlin mum get-together.

Playground in Kreuzberg: Our parent-child café is a multifaceted playground. That’s because there’s plenty of space for quality time with the family. Kreuzzwerg children’s café is around 170 square metres in size. Accordingly, there is plenty of space for you to play, linger, eat and drink. You can look forward to a large ball pool, educational toys and lots of climbing opportunities. You will also find a dressing-up box, a play kitchen and, of course, children’s books. Highlights also include the large doll’s house and the toy shop. There is also a Kreuzberg playground very close to Kreuzzwerg. So you can enjoy a bite to eat before or after your visit to the playground. Kreuzzwerg is a great excursion destination for your Kreuzberg day-care centre group as well.

Children’s culture café with an inviting atmosphere: Our family café is a popular meeting place for families with children. Your little darlings can get to know other “Kreuzzwerge” and therefore play with their peers. You as parents have the opportunity to casually chat with other mothers and fathers. There are also snacks for quick bites such as fresh Belgian waffles, rice pudding and warm sandwiches. Please note the following important information:

• Kreuzzwerg children’s café is a place where babies, children and parents can have a great family time discovering, playing and enjoying themselves. With around 170 square metres, our parent-child café offers you plenty of space and lots of opportunities to do so. We therefore ask for your understanding that there is a charge of 1 euro per hour for all children.
• Please note that we only accept cash payments.
• As caterers, we live from the sale of our drinks and dishes. We are therefore unable to allow guests to bring in food and beverages.
• For reasons of hygiene, we ask you to park pushchairs, walking bikes, bicycles etc. in the outdoor area.
• Please do not wear your shoes in the café. We have some extra slippers for you in the entrance area. You are also welcome to bring your own slippers from home.
• If the number of guests is above average, we unfortunately have to turn guests away. Only then can we fulfil all your needs.
